‘Bachelor Point’ Returns with Season 5 After Two-Year Hiatus
The hit web series Bachelor Point is set to return with its highly anticipated fifth season, much to the excitement of its loyal fan base.
The official announcement came during a press conference held on Sunday (June 1) evening at a club in Gulshan, where cast and crew gathered to share insights and memories from the series. Among those present were familiar faces including Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, Ziaul Hoque Polash, Abdullah Rana, Monira Mithu, Musafir Syed, Shimul Sharma, Saidur Rahman Pavel, Faria Shahrin, Lalima, and the show’s creator and director, Kajal Arefin Ome.
Reflecting on the journey of Bachelor Point, Ome expressed heartfelt gratitude and nostalgia: “When we first began, I had no clear expectations of where the show would go. I started with sincerity and a tight budget, driven more by passion than profit. Over the last seven years, we’ve reached our fifth season — a milestone built by the support of our audience.”
He acknowledged the challenges faced along the way, stating, “There were many hurdles, and even criticism, but every obstacle brought growth and new opportunities. The viewers’ continued interest is what brought us back after 26 months.”
Sharing his vision for the upcoming season, Ome explained that the new episodes will carry a more cinematic tone: “My recent web projects gave me valuable experience, and I want this season of Bachelor Point to reflect that enhanced storytelling and production quality.”
Season 5 will debut with eight episodes released on Eid day via the Bongo streaming app. A second installment of eight more episodes is scheduled for release on the first Thursday of July, also on Bongo at 7 pm.
Additionally, the new season will air on other platforms: the first episode will premiere at 9 pm on Boom Films’ official YouTube channel and at 9:30 pm on Channel i. This pattern will continue weekly, with new episodes releasing every Thursday and Friday night across both platforms.
